Overview
Woodhall Resourcing Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a surgical specialist hospital located in South Island New Zealand for an Anaesthetic Technician/ ODP Position.
This position will be responsible for providing direct clinical assistance to anaesthetists maintaining a high standard of patient care during induction, maintenance and emergence of anaesthesia. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary operating theatre team with a commitment to ensuring efficient functioning of the operating theatre.
This is a permanent role offered at 0.6 - 1.0 FTE or 24 - 40 hours per week to be worked on a rotating roster Monday to Friday.
Duties
Specific duties include:
• Provide assistance to the Anaesthetist, in various surgical specialties.
• Ensure the equipment and stocks required are maintained.
• Ensure continued education and personal development.
• Safe and accurate knowledge in crisis management.
Requirements
