The company consists of Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Directors, Associate Directors, Bookkeeper, PA’s and a HR & Office Manager.


Their primary focus has historically been on residential projects, with a mix of hotels and restaurants. However, the landscape shifted significantly post-COVID and now 90% of their projects are residential, with the remainder dedicated to the restaurant sector.

Job Description

This independent construction consultancy specialises in super prime residential projects for private clients across London & overseas. They’re currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor and an Associate Quantity Surveyor.


They’re looking for individuals who can thrive within their collaborative environment, bring fresh perspectives and contribute to their mission of excellence in cost & project management. Their team values dedication, innovation and a commitment to delivering quality results for their clients.


Projects generally consist of super prime residential projects and on occasion, restaurants and hotels. Projects are generally located in prime locations across London and at times further afield across the UK. They also have a strong presence internationally, in locations such as the USA, the Caribbean and the Middle East.


The position will require site visits in the UK and internationally.



Duties:


This is a typical PQS position, with examples of duties as follows:


  • Stakeholder Management

  • Cost Planning

  • Preparation of Tender Documents

  • Procurement

  • Valuations / Reviewing Variations

  • The preparation of Financial Reports to the Client

  • Contract administration

  • Client meetings

Requirements

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent certification

  • RICS Chartered Surveyor or close to being chartered

  • Driver’s License required

  • Confident and articulate - this is a client facing role

  • Willingness to travel overseas
