Job Description
This organisation are looking to appoint a competent and professional Assistant Quantity Surveyor. The job will involve a variety of roles including client side and contractor side quantity surveying over a range of sectors including private high end residential, residential, commercial and industrial.
Key Responsibilities:
The position will involve assisting more senior colleagues in the following duties:
Prepare cost estimates and cost plans
Present cost estimates and cost plans to clients
Prepare contractor tender submissions
Provide procurement route advice
Collate and manage tendering process
Prepare Tender Analysis and Recommendations
Prepare Contract Documentation
Conduct Interim Valuations
Prepare Monthly Cost Reports
Final Account Negotiation and Settlement
Attend Client Meetings throughout Projects
Carry out Employer’s Agent and Contract Administrator Roles.

Requirements
University Degree 2:1 or higher (Merit level at Masters Qualification): Essential
Valid UK Driving Licence: Essential

Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude to deliver for the client: Essential

Experience
A good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and the ability to learn how to use specialist software: Essential
