Job Description
This organisation is a multi-disciplinary consultancy who offer services such as Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Project Management & Sustainability consultancy. They work on behalf of private clients which include various blue chip organisations and public sectors clients predominantly within commercial, industrial and leisure sectors.
They have an abundance of work with longstanding clients and have also been awarded a space on a new government framework which initially consists of 20 projects.
They have a clear business plan over the next four years to increase turnover by 20% year on year. In order to achieve this, they require an experienced MRICS QS to come on board to take lead on a number of schemes which will help drive this planned growth. As time goes on, it is the intention for the successful candidate to become a Director and have involvement in other areas of the business such as business development and managing a small team.
Duties:
Feasibility studies
Cost Planning
Stakeholder Management
Advising clients on procurement routes
Appointment of client’s professional team
Procurement & appointments of contractors
Contract Administration
Cost & progress reporting
Chairing progress meetings
Settling disputes as they arise throughout projects
Delegate work to more junior colleagues and support them
Support the MD in growing the business
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
MRICS
Strong experience in pre and post-contract stages
Ambition to further career at a fast pace
