This organisation have constructed many developments over the years consisting of medium to large scale residential projects within the private and public sector.

Job Description

This reputable main contractor is looking to appoint a Document Controller within their Wembley office.


The chosen candidate will be working alongside a wider team and will report to the Design Manager/Project Manager.


You’ll be responsible for the management and implementation of document management systems and being the single point of contact involved daily with all members of the bid and project teams.



Key Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Maintain up to date record of all information and ensure that it is available to the team

  • Comply with all aspects of the design works instructions

  • Issue and distribute controlled copies of information in accordance with the design management plan

  • Check information on drawings for conformance with status and format agreed

  • Liaise with designers and specialist suppliers on queries regarding issues of information

  • Provide training to participants, designers and specialist suppliers on the project on how to use the drawing management system

  • Troubleshooting any problems to do with the drawing management system and peripherals

  • Periodically review, revise as necessary and arrange authorisation by the relevant personnel

  • Responsible for collating all O & Ms required on each job

  • Uploading of all drawings onto Project Vault and issuing of the notifications to each Team member and sub-contractor

  • Dealing with all day to day site administrator works

  • Reporting to the company CEO and arranging his diary
