Job Description
This organisation is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager with proven experience in delivering challenging projects to complement their rapidly growing team in their Birmingham office.

Duties:
Cost planning, this will include producing cost plans for commercial purposes
Preparation of tender documents
Preparing Construction Document
Preparation of reports through the project process
Pre and post contract duties on a variety of public and commercial projects
Visiting sites to conduct assessment of interim valuations and final accounts
Perform the role of employer’s agent or contract administration services
Requirements
Working knowledge of JCT Contract
Ability to implement the principles of construction contract practice
A strong desire to learn and develop professional skills
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Excellent report writing and communication skills
IT skills - Excel essential
Strong Health and Safety awareness
Pragmatic approach and ability to amend planned activities at short notice
